Parties can be designed for any age, any reason, anytime! Below are some popular parties you may want to consider. If you see something you like but it's not quite right for you, let us know: we can modify most parties for any age. Or we can work with you to create your own unique party project.
The per-person party fee includes all craft materials and a party leader/teacher. Minimum 6 paid partygoers. Please let us know if you will be bringing in food or opening gifts, so we can plan for the right amount of time.
For children's parties, plan to have two adults present. Because space in the party room is limited, please encourage parents to drop off their children - or at least wait up front - we'll even give them a free cup of coffee!
Pottery Painting
The Studio for Art and Craft offers 5 different pre-set party packages for pottery painters. You can choose one of these, or design your own. For all parties, we provide all the materials, instruction - and clean up! Come back one week later to pick up the fired pieces.
If you need pieces sooner, we have paints that don't need to be fired - bright colors, lots of choices, and ready in a day!
Pottery Painting 1 
Decorate a round coaster or square tile, paint a mini figurine (14 to choose from), an egg or a magnet (dozens to choose from).
Cost: $10 per person
Time: 1 hour
Pottery Painting 2
Kittens, puppies, large tile, egg cup, and assorted kids' fun cups (several to choose from)
Cost: $11.50 per person
Time: 1 1/2 hours
Pottery Painting 3 
Stacking mug, mini boxes (3 to choose from), cat or dog plaque, small butterfly, wavy dish/coin tray
Cost: $12.75 per person

Playful puppies, curious kittens, 12 oz. mug, small bowl, ruffled mini plate

Make it With Clay
Make it with Clay 1
Make and paint a pinch and coil pot, a mask, or a plate (1 item). Items will be ready for pick up in 10 days.
Cost: $10.00 per person
Time: 1 hour
Make it with Clay 2
Make and decorate 2 items - lots to choose from, including a bowl, plate, mask, various animal, chip/dip plate and more. Items will be ready for pick up in 10 days.
Cost: $15.00 per person
Time: 1-1/2 hours
Make it with Clay - Teens and Adults
Teens and adults can do either of the other programs, but this one is only for those over age 12. Use slab rolling, presses and other techniques to make a personalized plaque.
Cost: $17.00 per person

Other Classes
Decorate a Bag
Choose an oversized lined canvas bag, and we'll show you how to transfer and paint your choice of design, as well as with sparkling crystals if you choose.
Cost: $12.50 per person or $15.00 with crystals
Time: 1 ½ hours
Chain Maille
Want to try something different? Make a chain maille bracelet - it will unleash a new side to your creativity. Project level of difficulty will depend upon age of partygoers.
Cost: $10.50 per person
Time: 1 ¼ hours children, 2 hours adults
Soap it Up 
What do you get when you combine your favorite colors, scents, inserts and shapes? Soaps you can enjoy yourself or give as gifts. Soaps may not be ready for a few hours so we will wrap a bar of instructor-made soap to take home, and the partygoer's soap will be ready by the next day. An option is to include a handpainted soap dish in the party package, especially for teens or adults.
Cost: $12.50 per person, $17,50 with soap dish painting
Time: 1 ½ hours or 2 hours with soap dish painting
That's a T-Shirt 1
Why wear a boring ol' T-shirt when you can make it into a one-of-a-kind sensational top? We'll provide the shirt and teach partygoers how to cut, style, sew (by hand) and paint an amazing, original design.
Cost: $12.50 per person

That's a T-Shirt 2
Using a hot tip applicator, stencils and real crystals, add your own decorative touch to a t-shirt. Partygoers can paint on their own designs, too.

Cut, redesign, paint and crystal embellish a shirt.

Just Jewelry - for Girls and Boys
Choose your beads and make a necklace and bracelet set. Learn how to choose materials and how to string a necklace and make a matching bracelet.
Cost: $10 per person

Decorate a Tiny Tote
Kids can get in on the action with a tote just their size. For ages 4-7, we'll use transfers and paint to make a personal bag for boys and girls.

Bead It!- Jewelry 1 
Kids learn the basics of stringing, crimps and clasps and make a beaded necklace.
Cost: $10.00 per person

For older kids, learn design tips as well as basic beading skills and make a necklace and bracelet set.

Macrame - Hemp Jewelry for Boys and Girls 
Can you do the square, the swirl and the single loop? Come learn the basics of hemp jewelry making and leave with your own choker and anklet or bracelet.

Ladies Nite - or PYOP and BYOB
That's Paint Your Own Pottery and Bring Your Own Bottle. It's adults-only: bring in wine and your favorite snacks. Pick your own bisque to paint and go at it! Come back one week later to pick up the fired pieces. Fee includes firing fee, instruction (if needed) and supplies.
Cost: $10.00 per person + cost of item

Trash to Treasure 
Do you have a drawer of 'gently used' jewelry you would like to recreate into something wonderful? Bring it along to make new and original pieces. Instruction and design help will be provided.
Cost: $15.00 per person + cost of materials

PMC - Precious Metal Clay 
One of the hottest trends in jewelry-making - 99% pure silver jewelry (sterling silver is 92.5%). For beginners and more advanced jewelry-makers. Make your own pendant.
Cost: $12.00 per person + cost of clay (approx. $20)

Easy Ornaments that Don't Look Easy
The colors you choose for your ornaments blend into each other and help you create heirloom ornaments. This is a project anyone can do. Make up to 3 ornaments.
